Epipremnum aureum Njoy Gold is a vibrant and fast-growing cultivar of the classic pothos (Epipremnum aureum), loved for its bright golden variegation and easy-care nature. A member of the Araceae family, it is native to the tropical forests of Southeast Asia and the Pacific Islands, where it thrives as a climbing or trailing vine. This striking variety features small to medium-sized, heart-shaped leaves marbled in brilliant shades of lime, chartreuse, and yellow-gold. The variegation is softer and more blended than that of Golden Pothos, creating a luminous, almost glowing appearance. Each leaf is unique, with patterns that vary from subtle streaking to bold, golden patches. Compact yet vigorous, Njoy Gold is perfect for hanging planters, shelves, or trained onto a moss pole. Its trailing habit and lively colour make it a great way to brighten darker corners while adding a tropical, modern touch to any space. Epipremnum aureum Njoy Gold Care Guide Light Thrives in bright, indirect light. The golden variegation is most pronounced in higher light levels. It will tolerate medium light but may lose some colour intensity. Avoid direct sunlight, which can scorch the leaves. Watering Water when the top 23 cm of soil feels dry. Keep the soil lightly moist but never soggy. Reduce watering during winter when growth slows. Consistency is key underwatering may cause leaf curl, while overwatering leads to yellowing. Temperature and Humidity Temperature: Prefers warmth, 1828C. Protect from draughts and avoid temperatures below 15C. Humidity: Enjoys average to high humidity (5070%). Mist occasionally or place near other plants for best results. Soil and Potting Use a loose, free-draining aroid mix peat-free compost enriched with orchid bark, perlite, and coco coir. Repot every 12 years in spring to refresh the soil and support vigorous growth. Feeding Feed every 46 weeks during spring and summer with a balanced, diluted liquid fertiliser to maintain lush foliage. Pause feeding in winter. Pruning and Maintenance Trim long vines to encourage bushier growth and remove any damaged leaves. Easily propagated from stem cuttings in water or soil, making it perfect for sharing or expanding your collection.
