Growing Conditions Sun Exposure: Most varieties thrive in bright, indirect light; some can tolerate partial sunlight but require protection from harsh, direct rays. Soil: Prefers a well-draining potting mix, such as one designed for succulents or epiphytes. Water: Allow the soil to dry out completely between waterings; overwatering can be harmful to trailing varieties. USDA Hardiness Zones: 9-12 (most varieties are best grown as houseplants in cooler zones). Ideal Uses Hanging Baskets: Creates a beautiful cascading effect, making them ideal for elevated planters. Indoor Decor: Adds a touch of greenery and charm to windowsills, desks, or shelves. Terrariums: Many varieties are well-suited for enclosed environments due to their compact size and slow growth.
